Travel influencer dead at 28 after falling during mountain climbing

A popular travel influencer plunged into her death during a climbing expedition at Northridge on Mount Trifan in Snowdonia, Wales. She was 28 years old.

Maria Eftmova, a student at the Civil Engineering Department at Salford University, lost her footing and fell 65 feet to her death last week. BBC Report.

The Bulgaria native was expanding the infamous mountains with her friends Anna and Anna's father when she suddenly fell.

A nearby team member ran CPR immediately after the accident, but she was unable to save her.

Eftimova was the second person to die in an accident in Eliri National Park within 10 days.

Located at 3,010 feet, the mountain is famous for being one of the “most deadly mountains” in the UK and in the world. BBC It was reported previously.

Following the tragic incident, Eftimova's friend Megan Griffiths lamented the “free and spiritual” adventurer and opened up about lifelong enthusiasm.

“Maria was one of the kind people who lived her life to the fullest. She was not only adventurous, free and spiritual, but also incredibly kind, intelligent and selfless,” Griffith told the outlet.

“Her tragic losses are felt by so many people, and we are absolutely devastated by the loss of such a valuable friend.”

Another friend, Victoria Critchley, has set up a fundraising page online since it exceeded $24,000.

“Maria was ambitious, cheerful and precious, and her vibrant personality, energy and aura rose to her touching around her,” Critchley wrote on the list.

“She studied civil engineering at Salford University, studied extreme sports and was passionate about engineering.”

“Her biggest passion is snowboarding. She is extremely excited and looks forward to starting over on her upcoming trip to Austria,” her friend wrote. Maria Eftimova/Facebook

The heartbroken companion added that Jehtamova's loved ones, who live in Bulgaria, are facing a challenging time to bring her body back to her home country.

She added that the fundraiser was created to give Ftimova a “dignified farewell with the people she deserves.”
