Travis Hunter Scores First NFL Touchdown
Travis Hunter has finally found the end zone in his NFL career. The rookie wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence. While this score brought the Jaguars closer, trailing by 21 points, it felt somewhat out of reach for the team.
Drafted as the second overall pick, Hunter has been dividing his time between offense and defense. In the recent game against the Los Angeles Rams, he primarily took on an offensive role, aiming to energize the Jaguars’ gameplay.
Post-touchdown, Hunter led the team with six catches, proving his potential in the game.
Early on, the Rams exploited weaknesses, leading 28-0 in the fourth quarter. They managed to score again, but then came Hunter’s connection with Lawrence that resulted in the Jaguars’ touchdown.
In total, Hunter had 20 receptions on 31 targets and racked up 197 receiving yards. He spent 63% of the game on offense and 39% on defense.
Before heading to London for this matchup, the Jaguars held a 4-2 record but had just come off a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, which ended 20-12.
