Colorado State cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter might want to take back what he said after he got a little too honest during a livestream trying out the new “College Football 25” video game.
Hunter and star quarterback Shedul Sanders had a chance to play the EA Sports game when it hits stores this week, and Hunter seemed to poke some fun at the Buffaloes’ offensive line.
Hunter was sacked while facing off against Sanders after reading a fan’s comment on a livestream asking if the offensive line was realistic.
“Yeah, it’s very real,” Hunter said. “They can’t just block.”
Sanders also interjected mid-comment about being realistic, asking: “What do you mean?”
Hunter is set to play his sophomore season at Colorado in 2024 after transferring from Jackson State when coach Deion Sanders headed west.
Last season, Colorado’s offensive line received a lot of criticism for the number of sacks it allowed.
Colorado sacked Sanders 56 times, and Sanders broke his spine in Week 12 against Washington State.
The Buffaloes tried to address the situation by using the transfer portal to acquire former Houston guard Tyler Johnson and former UTEP offensive lineman Justin Meyers.

Sanders had the overwhelming advantage in the video game matchup, beating his Colorado teammate 56-14.
With the college football season fast approaching, Sanders told reporters last week that there was a good vibe in Colorado’s locker room heading into the new season.
“It’s fun,” Sanders said. According to On3:“Everybody comes to practice with great energy and practices are definitely very competitive. There’s no hatred or jealousy or anything like that in the locker room.”
“There’s no practice today, so everybody knows we’re here representing the team, so it’s just fun. It’s fun. It’s just a loving environment, no jealousy, no envy.”
The Buffaloes are looking to improve their record after going 4-8 last season.
