Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Talks Relationship with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce has addressed speculation that he and Taylor Swift are seeking attention through their public outings, including their recent appearance at the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. In a podcast appearance, he clarified that they’re just enjoying life together and introducing Swift to various sports beyond football.
On the “Bussin with the Boys” podcast, the 35-year-old tight end shared his perspective with hosts Taylor Lwan and Will Compton, saying, “We enjoy being a couple. Sometimes, I think some of the attention we get is exaggerated. We just like to have fun, whether that’s at hockey games or exploring other sports—like at the Stanley Cup. It was a blast.”
This offseason, Kelce and Swift, also 35, have spent considerable time together while he prepares for his 13th NFL season. Notably, it’ll be the last year of his two-year, $34.25 million contract signed last April.
Contrary to the last two seasons, Swift won’t be on her blockbuster ERAS tour this year, having concluded it in 2024. Kelce mentioned, “She did her best to include as many people as possible last year, but she was really busy. This time, she’s more involved with me and the Arrowhead community.”
Amid all the public interest, Kelce reflected on how their relationship has heightened media attention. “It’s a bit overwhelming. You don’t really understand paparazzi until you’re in it. Once while I was just playing golf, a photographer suddenly popped out from behind a tree and snapped a picture.”
Earlier in the podcast, Compton shared his observations of Swift, noting her kindness and class. He remarked, “No matter what people say about Taylor Swift, everything she does is subject to intense scrutiny, yet she remains so gracious.”
Following their time together at the Stanley Cup, the couple was spotted enjoying a night out in New York City. It seems they’re continuing to navigate the spotlight together, perhaps one step—or skate—at a time.
