Travis Kelce appears to wipe away tears as Brittany Mahomes comforts him during Taylor Swift Eras Tour stop

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted getting emotional during his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s recent Erasu tour.

Videos posted to social media showed Kelce wiping away tears in a suite with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, during Swift’s performance in Amsterdam.

At the time, Swift performed a piano mash-up of the song, which fans believed was a tribute to Kelsey and found emotional.

At one point, Brittany Mahomes was seen talking to Kelsey, presumably trying to show some affection to the 34-year-old while Swift continued singing onstage.

After the show, Kelsey was spotted leaving the Amsterdam stadium with Swift, galvanizing the crowd to support her beau after another successful performance.

The song Swift sang during her touching moment for Kelsey was “Mary’s Song,” which includes the lyrics, “You’re 87, I’m 89, I still look up to you like a star in the sky, Oh my my my,” with the number 87 being Kelsey’s jersey number and the number 89 being a reference to the year Swift was born, 1989.

There was also a song called “So High School” from Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which many fans believe is about Kelsey. Swift also sang “Everything Has Changed” in the mashup.

The Mahomes have attended Swift’s concerts with Kelsey this year, and Brittany and Swift were close at Chiefs games across the country last season.

Kelsey used the offseason to perform with Swift onstage during her Erasus tour, and surprised fans by supporting her at her London show in late June with a group of tuxedoed dancers.

“On the third night, something magical happened,” Travis’ brother, Jason Kelsey, said on the “New Heights” podcast during the Season 2 finale. “Somehow, we got onstage.”

“That’s not like me,” Travis replied with a smile. “I don’t like being on stage.”

“I first mentioned it to Tay and I thought it’d be fun to go out on a motorbike in the ’89’ era,” he explained to Jason. “She started laughing and said, ‘Are you sure you want to do that?’ And I was like, ‘What? I’d love to do that. Are you kidding me?’ I’ve seen enough of the show. I’d love to work here.”

“She found the perfect spot at the show for me to make my entrance. I didn’t have a bike so I didn’t have to worry about hitting anyone or running into one of the dancers. It was the safest option.”

At one point during the show, Swift was carried away in Kelsey’s arms.

Taylor Swift turns left on stage and laughs heartily, while Travis Kelce, clad in a red Chiefs jersey, laughs on the field.

It’s been a real summer of love for the pair, but Kelce will be returning to work in a few weeks when Chiefs training camp opens.
