Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift's romance is going strong, as is the NFL's obsession with the couple.
with new video Promoting Saturday's wild-card playoff game between the Chiefs and Dolphins, the NFL dubbed the Kansas City tight end “Travis Swift” and broke down the All-Pro's stats.
“The Dolphins didn't lock down their wideouts this year… They gave up a 108.3 rating to tight ends, seven touchdowns, and only one pick. And now they face Travis Swift. “I do,” a voiceover says in the NFL video.
The video shows Swift at Arrowhead Stadium, including the famous handshake with Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany Mahomes during Kansas City's 31-17 win over the Chargers on Oct. 22. It also includes previous clips of Kelsey's support.
An NFL video shared Tuesday also highlights the “Cruel Summer” singer's visit to Gillette Stadium on Dec. 20, during the Chiefs' 27-17 win over New England. was featured on Jumbotron.
Fans went wild on social media over the not-so-subtle Swift reference.
“I think he meant 'fast' in the same sense as fast. But that's not Taylor 'Swift',” one person said. Posted in Xanother person called it “Not professional” Driven by the NFL.
However, some Swifties agreed and praised the couple, who announced their relationship in October.
Earlier this week, the Chiefs' X account made a post of its own. playoff preview video, It was themed around Hallmark movies and included several references to Swift.
Swift, 34, has been an integral part of Chiefs' games this year, appearing in nine games so far.
The 12-time Grammy Award winner sat out the Chiefs' final regular-season game against the Chargers on Sunday, with Kelce and Mahomes sitting out the 13-12 win.
