Travis Kelsey made Taylor Swift wait at the airport.
There didn't seem to be any “bad blood” there, though, as Kelce showed up nearly an hour after Swift and her father, Scott, left on a private flight to the East Coast. According to a report in the Daily Mail.
Swift and her father boarded a Gulfstream jet at a Kansas City-area airport at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday night, but Kelce didn't arrive until 7 p.m., when they pulled up to his truck. The gate was closed. It was locked.
Kelsey, who appeared to be in a hurry, was finally able to get through when one of the pop icon's security guards let her through, and immediately boarded the plane.
Swift and her father had arrived in Kansas City the day before to watch the Chiefs' victory over the Saints on Monday Night Football.
They spent Tuesday at Kelce's mansion in Kansas City before heading to the airport.
The night before, Swift was seen cheering on Kelce, who had nine catches for 70 yards, and the two shared a sweet moment in the suite after the game.
Footage taken by a fan and posted on social media shows the football player talking to his father, Ed, before he kisses Swift and pulls her in for a hug. It seemed like that.
The Chiefs are currently in their bye week, which allows Kelce and Swift to spend a lot of time with each other before they need to return to practice in preparation for their Week 7 matchup against the 49ers.
Kelce is still looking for his first touchdown of the season, but his performance in Week 5 was one of his best of the year.
While Kelsey was rushing to board a plane, her brother Jason, an analyst for ESPN's “Monday Night Countdown,” arrived at the same airport to board a private flight back to his home in Philadelphia.
