Travis Kelce Celebrates Appearance in “Happy Gilmore 2”
Travis Kelce is sharing his excitement about his latest role in a sports comedy film.
On Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end took to Instagram to promote the release of “Happy Gilmore 2” on Netflix, expressing gratitude for the chance to make a cameo.
“Mann’s Live is crazy!!” Kelce wrote in the caption of a photo collection he posted. “I’m just thankful for this opportunity with Shul. @Adamsandler Sandman!! Thank you, Brotha, for letting me be part of ‘Happy Gilmore 2’! Everyone, check it out now!”
His post featured behind-the-scenes shots from the movie alongside Adam Sandler.
Kelce also included a picture of Bad Bunny, the Latin pop star who portrays Happy Caddy in the film.
Adam Sandler talked about the sequel during a recent episode of Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, noting the involvement of three Super Bowl champions in the film.
Sandler praised both Travis and his brother Jason, saying, “If I’m doing this, I might do better, too. Travis was locked in; he had to play some sort of antagonist.”
He also remarked on the chemistry between Kelce and Bad Bunny, noting, “The two of them were fantastic together. Bad Bunny was so sweet, but you had to be a bit of a Schmers with him. It’s tough to be mean when you like the guy.”
Kelce also spoke highly of Bad Bunny on her podcast, calling the Grammy winner “Fonny as F-K.”
“It was such a blast hearing about the role, and Adam loved finding spots for everyone, so Bad Bunny showed up, and it was hilarious. It caught me off guard for a moment,” Kelce admitted. “He’s naturally funny. If people are around him, they’ll see he’s truly entertaining in ‘Happy Gilmore 2.'”
