Travis Kelse seems to have overcome his tough times like the rest of Swift.
Star Chief Stite End – Probably the biggest swift of all – revealed in Wednesday's “New Heights” podcast Listening to the music of his girlfriend Taylor Swift helped him deal with the biased loss of Kansas City's Eagles at Super Bowl 2025 earlier this month.
“I just listen to Taylor's music,” Travis told his brother Jason, explaining why he heard Swift's song when he was depressed. “She has something for everything.”
Jason agrees to how he handles it.
“That's a good point,” he said. “No matter what you feel, you can find Taylor's music.”
The conversation was sparked by Jason. Jason asks if his go-to music in such situations is “a sad country song and is listening to a sad song when the brothers go down.”
Travis said the music he heard usually reflects quite a bit of his emotions.
“The only way you can find yourself in the light, Jason, is to first find yourself in the dark,” Travis said. I listen to music that really conveys my mood. ”
Travis certainly wouldn't have felt the best after the chiefs were crushed by the Eagles 40-22 at the Super Bowl Caser Superdome.
Philadelphia led 34-0 at 2:40 and played in the third quarter, refusing to the Chiefs for a historic third straight Super Bowl victory.
“And the way the Eagles broke my heart,” Travis added in connection with the defeat.
Swift, who has been dating Travis since the summer of 2023, has been on hand for the big game to support the big game for the second year in a row.
Many retirement talks have been around Kelse, 35, since his defeat, but Chiefs general manager Brett Vech said in a post Tuesday that he expects the star tight end to return.
“He's been on his contract for another year,” Veach said. “I think he still has a desire to play with that fire. As far as I'm concerned, there's no deadline. [for a decision] I think he's back and we left it. And we're excited to get him back and make him move. ”
