Travis Kelce’s Past Dating Preferences Resurface Amid Taylor Swift Romance
Remember that time from way back? Well, Travis Kelce’s earlier comments about dating expectations have come back into the spotlight.
In a 2016 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” he was asked about his thoughts on relationships. The question was quite striking: “If a girl doesn’t sleep with you after a third date, is it a dealbreaker?” The inquiry came from a 68-year-old former singer from “The Real Housewives of New York City,” during an episode of the “Drama Diary Podcast” this week.
“The third date,” Kelce mused. “I feel it’s a breaker right there. Three dates? It’s like one.” He seemed to share his thoughts candidly, revealing what he finds significant.
Host Andy Cohen nodded in agreement, yet the singer pressed on, asking, “If you’re not having sex, it’s your third date, right?” To this, Kelce replied, “I mean, I don’t want to label it a dealbreaker, but I’d definitely have some questions,” gesturing to his head thoughtfully.
So, he has certain expectations, it seems. He mentioned that while he’s open-minded, he thinks some things just need to align. For instance, fake breasts? Not an issue if the woman feels confident and comfortable.
However, he did state that if a girl isn’t interested in oral sex, then that’s a dealbreaker for him. It’s interesting how some preferences can be non-negotiable, isn’t it?
When pressed about whether fake breasts might be a dealbreaker, he clarified he’s good with that as long as the woman is self-assured. But the absence of certain intimate acts can change perceptions entirely.
He was also asked if dating someone obsessed with selfies would be problematic, and he seemed to weigh that option carefully.
At the time of this interview, Kelce was preparing to launch his own dating show titled “Catching Kelce,” featuring 50 women vying for his affections. He eventually chose Maya Benberry during that show, but their relationship faced challenges, leading to a split amid troubled rumors.
After their breakup, Kelce dated Kayla Nicole on and off for five years, eventually parting ways in May 2022. It’s a whirlwind, really.
Now, this resurfaced clip comes as Kelce is in a new relationship with Taylor Swift, which began in 2023. They made their public debut as a couple when she joined him at a Chiefs game—not long after Kelce attempted to give her his number via a friendship bracelet at one of her concerts.
It appears they’ve even been house hunting together. Reports suggest they looked at some beautiful properties in Cleveland back in June. An inside source recently mentioned that the couple is “in a really solid place and in sync more than ever,” which is sweet, isn’t it?
