Travis Kelse reportedly said he was “powerless” after his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was booed during the Super Bowl 2025 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. It is reportedly felt that way.
On Sunday, the 14-time Grammy Award winner, 35, appeared on the Jumbotron at Caesars Superdome, but soon met a big boo from stubborn bird fans.
The chilly reception to her presence seemed to surprise her with a simple three-word response.
And the 35-time Super Bowl champions seem to have struggled to digest the harsh response to his girlfriend's attendance following the Chiefs' disappointing loss.
“Travis knew Taylor would be booed and he felt helpless. The expression on her face reached him,” the source said. I told the Daily Mail.
“He always protected her and it broke his heart. He had already had a tough night and the fact that the stadium was primarily an Eagles fan didn't help. Travis said, “This is what I meant to be. I know that hurt her and everyone can see this.”
Insider claimed that many Eagles fans felt that the “two weeks” singer was “some sort of traitor.”
“Travis believes it's unnecessary to dig her after Trump expressed his respect for the president being there,” the source continued.
“It wasn't a good week for them after Taylor lost the biggest game of the year after being locked out for the Grammys and Travis. But he said this is a happy season where she has her love. I know that it gives him so much joy, even though it's not the ending.”
This post was contacted by a Kelse representative for comment.
The boos was later echoed by President Trump, who went to social media to troll the singer after a brief appearance in the match.
“The only one who had a tougher night than the Kansas City chief was Taylor Swift. She was booed from the stadium. The Magazine is so merciless!” I wrote about the true society Along with the video of that moment.
President's Jive was stabbed a little more when he thought of what Kelse had said before. It was a “great honor.” Trump had planned to take part in the game.
Trump was spotted in the stands at the start of the game, but he didn't stick long.
Potus (78), who previously predicted that the Chiefs would win, reduced his losses and hit the road at halftime.
Still, Swift received some supportive words from retired tennis legend Serena Williams.
“I love you @taylorswift13 Don't listen to those boooo!!” 23rd Grand Slam winner I wrote it on x.
