Treasury announces sanctions against major Mexican cartel network: ‘Their days were numbered’

Ministry of Finance announcement Sanctions against three Mexican citizens and two Mexico-based entities on Thursday revolve around its relationship with the criminal cartel network.

Sanctions are being imposed in response to fentanyl trafficking and fuel theft in connection with Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generasion, according to the press release. The CJNG network generates hundreds of millions of dollars a year and is designated as foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated global terrorists.

“Their terrifying rule will come to an end due to the strength and strength President Trump has brought back to his oval office.”

“President Trump has committed to the American people to ensure he is at the forefront of all actions he took when he held the border,” Paul Anthony Perez of the Border Patrol Council said in a statement.

“If we assume the cartels and their illegal financial networks, there is a catastrophic and unstable dict order in our ability to operate in the US,” Perez added.

This is officially the eighth measure taken by the Treasury against the cartel under the leadership of President Donald Trump.

“When President Trump took the vows to office, the detective cartels realized their days were counted,” Perez said. “These actions today ensure that cartels no longer have the ability to provide unlimited funds to promote criminal enterprises, while also allowing the US government to disrupt daily activities on both sides of the border.”

“Their terrifying rule will come to an end due to the strength and power that President Trump brings back to his oval office.”
