Four people with possible ties to the international crime organization Tren de Aragua were arrested near the besieged apartment building in Aurora, Colorado.
At least two apartment buildings in Aurora attracted intense media attention last week after security camera footage went viral showing heavily armed men kicking down apartment doors.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, FOX 31 Denver confirmed that four people were arrested Tuesday at Ivy Crossing Apartments in Aurora on “various charges,” including drugs and stolen vehicles. A total of six people have been arrested.
The four were identified as having possible ties to Tren de Aragua. Law enforcement from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security patrolled the area surrounding the Ivy Crossing Apartments building on Aug. 21.

Tren de Aragua is based primarily in Venezuela, with approximately 5,000 members in South America and the United States.
“We're trying to stop any violations that are occurring and get in touch with anyone and address any issues that they may be having,” Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown told FOX31 Denver.

During a proactive patrol on Aug. 21, officers from the agencies seized a stolen vehicle, ketamine and 750 counterfeit pills.
“There was a discussion that something was happening in our jurisdiction and we made a plan,” Brown told FOX31.

According to FOX 31, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed exactly how the four were connected to Tren de Aragua.
The four are currently in custody, but Fox News Digital has been unable to confirm their exact whereabouts.
Police in Aurora, Colorado, announced in August that they had appointed a special task force to combat the Tren de Aragua case.
