Trevor Lawrence Signs Historic 5-Year, $275 Million Contract Extension With Jacksonville Jaguars: REPORT

Trevor Lawrence got paid!

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence Jason Brown has signed a massive five-year, $275 million contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday.

The extension comes with a whopping $200 million in guaranteed money, with $142 million of that going to Lawrence at signing, according to ESPN sources. Lawrence’s contract bonus totals $37.5 million, according to ESPN sources. 4 letter network.

Lawrence’s average salary will be $55 million, tying him with the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback as the NFL’s highest-paid player. Joe Burrow.

The former Clemson Tiger is just the fifth quarterback to earn more than $50 million in annual salary in the NFL. The other is Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff ($53 million) of the Los Angeles Chargers Justin Herbert ($52.5 million) of the Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson ($52 million) and the Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts ($51 million).

Holy crap, this guy got paid.

The $142 million he’ll be given at signing? A $37.5 million signing bonus?

I mean, this guy made almost $200 million just for signing a contract. That’s crazy. And I thought I got paid for the first round of the U.S. Open (which I did, by the way. It was awesome). But congrats to Trevor Lawrence! Always good to see someone get the bag! Same for our buddies in Florida!

By the way, here is a video I found of a girl who looks just like Trevor Lawrence… I was amazed.

Anyway, let’s get back to our regularly scheduled programming.
