Trevor Lawrence received a sweet game-day message from his wife, Marissa, on Sunday before the Jaguars' crucial regular-season finale against the Titans.
In a post shared to her Instagram Stories, Marissa, who has been married to the Jaguars quarterback since April 2021, posted a photo of Lawrence, 24, taken from what appears to be the tarmac.
“Happy game day baby @tlawrence16,” she captioned the snap.
Lawrence appeared in Sunday's game against Tennessee after missing last week's 26-0 win over Carolina due to a shoulder injury.
The Jaguars, currently 9-7 in the AFC South, could clinch their second straight division title with a win on Sunday.
However, if Jacksonville loses, they will miss the playoffs and the Texans will win the AFC South with a 23-19 victory over the Colts on Saturday night.
The Jaguars trailed the Titans 28-20 in the fourth quarter.
Lawrence is in his third season with the Jaguars, who selected him No. 1 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, a former Clemson product.
Through 15 games this season, Lawrence has thrown for 3,736 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
He helped lead Jacksonville to the postseason last year, but lost in the regional round to the eventual Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Marissa continues to support Lawrence and the Jaguars in every way.
Shortly after Jacksonville was eliminated from the playoffs last January, Marissa wrote a heartfelt tribute to the star quarterback.
“As always, I'm so proud of you Trev. I'm honored to be by your side!! What a year it's been…I have to thank you so much!” she screamed On Instagram.
