Trio of Islamic extremists indicted over plot to massacre Jews in England

The UK’s anti-Semitism watchdog, the Community Security Trust,
observed Following the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, there was a massive spike in hate incidents against Jews. This increase coincided with the mainstreaming of genocidal and anti-Israel rhetoric that was subsequently recycled in various Democratic-backed campus protests in the United States.

“Within hours of the massacre, people in London were hoisting Palestinian flags and honking their horns to celebrate the massacre,” Douglas Murray, founder of the Center for Social Cohesion, wrote in an October 12th article in the Spectator. I drove around with my car blaring,” he said. Dana Abukamal, president of Manchester’s local Friends of Palestine, said: Said Sky News: “We are really filled with joy and filled with pride for what has happened.” One of the speakers at the Free Palestine rally in Brighton, who claims to be Palestinian, said: “Yesterday was a victory,” he said. She described the massacre in Israel as “so beautiful and moving to watch.” ”

Britain and its Jews appear to have more to fear than murderous rhetoric.

Two Islamic extremists were arrested last week and charged with preparing a terrorist act. Walid Saadawi, 36, from Abram, and Amal Hussein, 50, of no fixed address, were taken to Westminster Magistrates Court for plotting attacks on “Jewish communities in the north-west of England and members of both laws”. Enforcement agencies and military charged with crimes.”
report BBC.

Bilel Saadawi, the younger brother of one of the terrorist masterminds, was also arrested. He is accused of failing to disclose details of the terrorist plot to authorities.
report Guardian.

Prosecutor Rebecca Waller suggested the pair began their plot in December and planned to “run ISIL” [Isis] or the Daesh-inspired terrorist attack in the United Kingdom that used automatic weapons to inflict multiple fatalities, in which Islamic terrorists killed 90 people and committed various other atrocities against their victims. It bears no resemblance to the gruesome Bataclan massacre in November 2015, or the ISIS attack on March 22. The attack in Russia’s Moscow region killed 145 people and injured 551 others.

The conspirators reportedly planned to secure a safe house to store a machine gun, 1,200 rounds of ammunition, a handgun, and weapons. Mr Saadawi is said to have traveled with Mr Hussein to Dover in March “for the purpose of scouting security at the port” where the guns were to be imported.
report Daily Mail.

“Both defendants had taken significant steps to prepare and had reached a point where they believed they would be ready to launch an attack by May 2024,” Waller said.

Police arrested Saadawi as he went to retrieve his weapon.

Assistant Constable Rob Potts, Greater Manchester Police
Said A statement on Tuesday said: “Today’s first court appearance revealed some worrying and worrying details about an alleged terrorist plot that we allege was being planned by a suspect from Greater Manchester.” Stated.

“Firstly, we know how significant the impact is, particularly for Jewish communities in Greater Manchester and across the country,” Mr Potts continued. “We have worked closely with the Community Security Trust, community groups and key stakeholders in advance of today’s hearing and will continue to keep them updated and committed to supporting them throughout the course of this case. We will support them, and of course the broader public will be wary.”

Amanda Bomstyk, Northern regional director at the Community Security Trust, said: “These are allegations that they are planning terrorist attacks against British Jews at a time when anti-Semitic hate crimes are at record levels. “This is a very serious allegation. This is one of many incidents.” We highlight recent and ongoing incidents that demonstrate why the Jewish community needs such extensive safety measures and why continued partnership with police and government is so important. ”

When asked if he wanted to apply for bail, Hussein said: “I will do whatever I want.”

Bilel Saadawi remained silent on his way out of court after his bail application failed.

Blaze News previously reported that German and Dutch officials similarly thwarted an Islamic terror plot in December, arresting four Hamas terrorists who were targeting “European Jewish organizations.” These arrests coincided with Denmark’s arrest of four other terror suspects.

Prosecutors said four of the militants were “long-time members of Hamas and have participated in Hamas operations abroad. They have close ties to the military leadership. Among them are “Al’s second-in-command, Khalil Hamed al-Haraz, was also included.” -Din Al Qasem Brigade. ”
