Los Angeles – Trisha Yearwood praised Garth Brooks for being No. 1 fan on the day he was an honorable guest.
Yearwood, 60, held her husband to the best of his best while accepting her star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
“She's in love with a boy” singer admitted that the country icon was her “cheerleader,” and said Brooks was just as excited about the big victory in her life as she was.

“The first Garth I met was here, and Garth was a real cheerleader,” Yearwood told the crowd. “And like he won so many admirations and awards, I've never seen him get any more excited than when he received anything.”

Carly Pierce exclusively told Fox News Digital that Yearwood is one of the most timeless artists and the “soundtrack” of her childhood.
“When I hear songs like 'Walkaway Joe', they're the soundtrack of my childhood and why did I want to do this for my living,” Pierce said. “She is one of the true country artists that have evolved over decades, and everything remains very classic, true and timeless.
