Los Angeles – Trisha Yearwood praised Garth Brooks for being No. 1 fan on the day he was an honorable guest.
Yearwood, 60, held her husband to the best of his best while accepting her star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
“She's in love with a boy” singer admitted that the country icon was her “cheerleader,” and said Brooks was just as excited about the big victory in her life as she was.

“The first Garth I met was here, and Garth was a real cheerleader,” Yearwood told the crowd. “And like he won so many admirations and awards, I've never seen him get any more excited than when he received anything.”

Pierce was unable to identify one instance of the key advice awarded by Yearwood, but the essence embodied by the country star is more important.

“She's one of the most realistic people I've ever met,” Pierce said. “She greets everyone. She's everyone's friends and she's everyone's sister. I think that's a true testimony of who she is.”
