Trump Golf Outing Silences Health Speculations

This past Saturday, President Trump was spotted at the golf course, countering swirling rumors about his health keeping him out of the public eye.

After several days without public appearances, he was seen at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. Recently, social media had buzzed with speculation about his health, particularly after a photo surfaced showing a bruise on his hand during a Cabinet meeting.

Veteran journalist Laura Rozen weighed in on the discussion online, suggesting that the president’s absence was overblown. On Saturday, she shared another photo of Trump enjoying his time on the golf course.

Earlier in the week, Vice President Vance also weighed in, drawing attention to Trump’s health. He reassured the public in a recent statement, saying he would be ready to step in if anything were to happen but emphasized that the president was “incredibly healthy.”

“Yes, there will be a terrible tragedy,” Vance remarked. “But I am very confident that the President of the United States is in good condition.”

Moreover, he added that, God forbid something did happen, he felt well-prepared from his experiences over the last 200 days.

This discussion revisits concerns from over a year ago when Trump narrowly avoided an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

At 79, Trump is the oldest president to take office, having returned to the Oval Office in January.

Speculation about his health spiked again last month when White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt mentioned he had undergone tests for swelling and bruising in his legs, especially after a circulating photo highlighted these concerns.

He has been diagnosed with chronic venous deficiency, a condition that affects many seniors, as veins struggle to return blood to the heart, often leading to bruising that may be concealed with makeup.

Vance and other supporters of Trump have pointed to his stamina and energy to help dispel any worries regarding his health.

“He was the last person to call in the night, and he was the first to wake up and make calls in the morning,” Vance stated earlier this week.

Nevertheless, these health discussions arrive amidst a backdrop of declining approval ratings for the president in recent polls.

Additionally, Trump participated in a face-to-face interview with Daily Caller earlier this week, which was released on Saturday.
