Poll Watchers Preparing for Midterm Elections
The Trump administration has announced that around 1,000 poll watchers are set to monitor and ensure fairness during the upcoming midterm elections in November.
Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General, indicated that the monitors are being trained using the same materials that were employed by the previous administration, addressing concerns such as potential election fraud.
“We did it during the primaries, and we’ll continue that in November with about 1,000 election observers. This is the action the Department of Justice is taking,” Dhillon explained.
A recent investigation by Tea Party Patriots Action revealed that most general election voters are in favor of the Save America Act, which would mandate voter identification before federal elections.
“The SAVE America Act is an essential part of President Trump’s domestic agenda. Our polling suggests that a significant majority of voters, including many Democrats, support proving U.S. citizenship to register and showing ID to vote,” commented Jenny Beth Martin, Chair of Tea Party Patriots Action.

During a recent address from the White House discussing the vulnerability of elections, Trump stated that the only reason against passing the SAVE America Act would be if “the policies are so bad and the candidates are so pathetic that they can’t get away with it, or they can’t get elected any other way and they want to cheat.”
“This important bill requires all voters to carry a photo ID,” he emphasized. “It’s straightforward. Can I get a photo? Photo voter ID. All voters must provide proof of citizenship.”
Dillon stated that ensuring elections instill confidence among all Americans is a high priority for the White House. “We genuinely want every American to vote and trust the results. It’s not just about voting; it’s also crucial that people feel they can accept the outcome of the election,” she expressed in a recent interview.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer from Minnesota recently expressed optimism regarding the Republican Party’s chances in the midterm elections. “We’re feeling good about our prospects. The maps have never looked better,” he noted.
