Representative Jamie Ruskin (D-MD) argued on MSNBC’s “Rachel Madow Show” on Friday that Trump administration officials could be arrested for “interfering with legal proceedings” or “involved.”
Ruskin said, “With the prism of what we’re a fierce attack on judicial independence last month, it’s a hugely thought-provoking. They’re systematically violating federal court orders: interim injunctions and temporary restraint orders against the chaos unleashed in the country by the Trump administration.”
He said, “Now they’re arresting judges, and the first felony criminal charges against Judge Hannah Dugan in Wisconsin is obstructing legal proceedings. That’s essentially what they’ve been doing all along. It turns out that Judge Boasberg is trying to hold them in criminal contense repression and discovers that there is a definite cause for criminal composing. The plane could potentially be arrested for obstructing legal proceedings and other criminal charges like temptation.”
