Trump administration shares election integrity documents following primetime speech

Election Integrity Documents Released by the White House

On Thursday night, following President Trump’s prime-time address, the White House unveiled a considerable amount of documents related to election integrity. These documents outline supposed weaknesses in voting systems, allegations about China’s acquisition of U.S. voter data, a study on voter registration in Michigan, and files concerning noncitizens on state voter rolls.

The materials available on the newly created Election Integrity page are divided into four categories. They include assessments from intelligence agencies, FBI files, reports from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and briefs from the Department of Homeland Security. The subjects range from cybersecurity concerning election infrastructure to threats regarding voter registration databases.

This release is intended to provide access to records that, according to the White House, bolster President Trump’s recent push for reforms, including the introduction of voter ID and proof of citizenship requirements.

DHS Claims Noncitizen Voter Registration

During his address, Trump asserted that electronic voting machines are at risk of being compromised. However, Fox News has yet to verify any evidence backing that assertion, and an independent assessment of his claims isn’t currently available.

“This vital information has been concealed from you for years,” said Trump during his speech about election integrity. “But that changes now.”

The White House has categorized the documents under “Vulnerabilities in electronic voting and vote counting systems,” “China’s acquisition and misuse of U.S. voter data,” “Michigan voter registration survey,” and “noncitizens on state voter rolls,” with dates ranging from January 2020 to June 2026.

Fox News Digital was unable to independently confirm the contents of these documents.

In one section regarding voting systems, the White House mentioned that the documents purportedly include classified intelligence assessments and other warnings that adversaries could potentially compromise various components of the election infrastructure.

Another part of the release contains claims that China has obtained millions of U.S. voter records, along with FBI files concerning voter registration issues in Michigan.

California Accused of Obstructing Federal Voter Roll Audit

“Those who were supposed to issue warnings kept this information secret,” Trump claimed. “They didn’t disclose it to me or anyone else during my presidency.”

The last category focuses on a review from the Department of Homeland Security, which the White House says identified noncitizens registered on state voter rolls.

The documents appeared on the White House website concurrently with Trump’s speech. However, the new election integrity webpage indicates that further updates would eventually be removed.

“The documents released tonight were compiled by the staff of the White House Government Transparency Task Force, supported by top intelligence officials who have verified the authenticity of the findings we’re presenting,” Trump stated in his address.

As Trump intensifies his efforts on election integrity leading up to the midterm elections, he is pushing for requirements such as voter ID and proof of citizenship, in addition to advocating for the passage of the SAVE Act in the Senate.

Previously, Trump signed an executive order aimed at enforcing proof of citizenship on federal voter registration forms, although a federal judge has since blocked crucial aspects of this order as the SAVE Act has stalled in the Senate.

“There is no greatness without trust,” Trump emphasized to Americans on Thursday.
