Trump administration swaps Biden's 'Presidential Walk of Fame' portrait for a photo of his autopen signature

The White House has introduced a new feature to its “Presidential Walk of Fame,” showcasing gold-framed portraits of all previous U.S. presidents—except for President Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, images and videos emerged of this latest installation, located just outside the Oval Office in the East Wing. Instead of Biden’s portrait, there’s a framed photo of the autopen device used by past presidents for signing documents.

This autopen has been utilized by presidents from both parties, but its extensive use during Biden’s administration has sparked concerns, even after his time as the 46th Commander-in-Chief. Allegations have surfaced suggesting a cover-up regarding Biden’s health and mental state during his final months in office, with the autopen at the center of the scrutiny. Notably, numerous acts of clemency were signed in his last days, reportedly without his explicit approval, one of which occurred while he was seen golfing far from D.C.

The House Oversight Committee, led by Representative James Comer (R-Tenn.), has summoned several former Biden aides—including ex-White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre—for questioning regarding these events.

Earlier this month, Trump hinted at the significance of the autopen in an interview, stating, “He didn’t win the race. He lost badly. He was a horrible president.”

This new display sits adjacent to the recently revamped Rose Garden, with the golden frames and the title of the “Presidential Walk of Fame” echoing the gold accents introduced by Trump during his presidency.
