Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle appeared on Donald Trump Jr.'s show and said that President-elect Donald Trump is already negotiating to end the war in Ukraine. triggeredcalled for a special inspector general to investigate how the billions of dollars given to the country were spent.
“We just gave another $900 million to Ukraine. It's never going to end. I mean, it's never going to end,” President Trump said.
“It's like, you know, there's a mission. No one's interested, as long as we keep pouring money out there, no one's going to come to the table. You reach peace. All you're doing is creating an escalation. You know, Ukraine is Russia's leader. They're like, this is a big win for Ukraine. Russia is taking over like, every week, a different quadrant of this country. It was a withdrawal. So have you ever been able to find out where this money is actually being spent?'' Mr. Trump asked Mr. Boyle.
“Is there a way to find out?” he pressed.
“I think we need to appoint a special inspector general. So this will be done by the State Department and probably the Department of Defense,” Boyle responded. “So, again, if Secretary Rubio and Secretary Hegseth come…this is something that hopefully they'll do to get to the bottom of it.”
“But I think you're right about there being no peace here. So, again, the current commander-in-chief is no longer on par with us, right? He's in the jungle. It's like getting lost. He's going to be meeting with world leaders. And they're going to compare it to your dad at Notre Dame this weekend, right? . “Just like at the reopening ceremony, world leaders lined up to shake hands one by one.”
“But the point is, again, what you have is a completely weak loser of the outgoing president, Joe Biden. We have leaders, and I think that creates confidence on the world stage,” said Boyle, who last spoke to President-elect Trump in an in-person interview at Mar-a-Lago in August. Yes, I said this at the time. “I intend to work on negotiations to end the war in Ukraine during the transition period,'' he said.
“And that's what he's doing now, right? Like, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't end until Inauguration Day or after,” Boyle added.
