Elon Musk’s live interview with former President Donald Trump sent leftists around the world into a state of panic.
Not only did media reports ignore Musk’s claims of a DDoS attack, but they also mocked Mr. X at the beginning of the interview for “technical issues.”
European Union officials then threatened Mr X with further legal action if he did not censor Trump, and US journalists and the White House suggested Mr Musk should be punished for spreading “misinformation”.
“As a very large online platform, we have a legal obligation to ensure that X complies with EU law, in particular the EU’s Digital Services Act,” the officials wrote in the letter to Musk.
Those criticizing Musk’s interview are either completely unaware, or simply don’t care, that the tech billionaire had asked Kamala Harris to do a similar interview, an opportunity she turned down.
Glenn Beck is horrified, calling the reaction “like ‘V for Vendetta’ or ‘1984.’”
“They’re saying this interview shouldn’t air because it’s too risky. Now, my fellow Americans, when has something become too risky? What was the thing that Donald Trump said yesterday that was so frightening?” Glenn said.
“These people are trying to block your access to other perspectives. You’ll notice that when Democrats say the election was stolen and Republicans are trying to steal it again, they say nothing,” he continues.
While Trump was talking about election fraud, he was discussing it in the context of the use of paper ballots, which would go a long way toward preventing election fraud.
“This is something that just doesn’t make sense to me as a Westerner – it makes Saudi Arabia seem like a kind of open place,” Glenn added.
