Trump Invites Jake Paul on Stage in Kentucky
HEBRON, Ky. — During a visit to Vaast Logistics in Hebron, President Donald Trump invited YouTuber Jake Paul to join him on stage, a moment that quickly went viral, racking up millions of views across various social media platforms.
This interaction with Paul occurred as Trump wrapped up his remarks at the venue, which was the second stop of his trip encompassing Ohio and Kentucky. He praised Paul for his recent fight against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, referring to him as a “very tough cookie” and a “brave guy.”
“This guy has guts. He came out with a broken jaw. It wasn’t the best fight, but you know what it showed? Very courageous. Come out here, Jake, and say something,” Trump said, encouraging Paul to speak.
Paul responded, “What Mr. Trump taught me is courage. Look, we never back down from a fight, even if the opponent is much, much bigger than you. And I think all Kentuckians back home feel the same way. You have that fight. You have that swag.”
He continued, “There are a lot of young kids here who are the future of America. I grew up just a few hours away from here. My father taught me to fight. In America, all of our voices matter. I’m never afraid to speak the truth. And I know you guys aren’t… We’re here representing America. It’s just a blessing.”
Before going on stage, Paul had recorded a podcast episode with Trump, mentioning that the president is dedicated to bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. and that “he knows God is with us.”
“We need more factories like this to thrive across the country, and I know he will bring that to us,” Paul said. “I know God is with us. I know God wants us to be on the right side of history. And everyone here has to do their part. And God got us and Trump got us. God bless you. Kentucky, we love you.”
Trump added his belief that Paul would consider running for political office soon, expressing his complete support for the 29-year-old.
The exchange gained substantial traction online, with a video Paul shared on Instagram featuring them performing Trump’s signature backstage dance amassing 24 million views and counting at the time of this writing.
