Humorous Dance Tribute to Trump on Israeli TV
This week, a light-hearted dance routine on Israel’s “Dance with the Stars” sparked attention for its playful tribute to former President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
In a recent episode of “Rokdim Im Kokhavim,” the Israeli adaptation of the popular dance competition, two female dancers donned navy blue outfits reminiscent of those worn by the Trumps during their inauguration. As the national anthem played, the dancer portraying Trump attempted to woo Melania, only to be playfully rebuffed as she humorously adjusted his tie after “shooting” him.
Once the music shifted to “YMCA,” both dancers hit the floor, with the Melania character swapping her attire for a costume featuring the American flag while the Trump dancer showcased his signature moves with an outpouring of cards.
The amusing clips from the routine gained traction on social media platform X, tallying millions of views. Among these, one account shared a particularly engaging clip, which drew over 2 million views, with many calling it a “must-see.”
This portrayal of the couple has attracted positive reactions from Trump supporters online. “This is so much fun!” remarked Steve, a former adviser for Trump’s campaign. He, along with others, praised the performance, sharing their excitement about the creative homage.
April Silverman, a political commentator backing Trump, also expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Absolutely killed it,” after sharing her thoughts on how well the dancers captured the essence of the couple.
As the coverage rolled on, the White House did not respond immediately to a request for comments about the performance.
