Trump Announces Chad Mizelle As Chief Of Staff At DOJ

President-elect Donald Trump announced that Chad Mizell will become Chief of Staff at the Department of Justice (DOJ).

On Saturday, President Trump posted on Truth Social announcing Mizell's future position.

The president-elect said Mizell plans to work with attorney general nominee Pam Bondi.

Mr. Mizell worked at the Gibson Dunn law firm and later held several positions in the first Trump administration.

The American lawyer served as general counsel and chief of staff for the Department of Homeland Security during President Trump's first term. While in that position, he contributed to border security.

In 2021, Mizell was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Florida) to serve as the 13th Representative.th Circuit Court Judicial Nominating Commission.
