Trump announces Dan Bongino as Deputy FBI Director

President Trump announced on Sunday that longtime Trump alliance radio and podcast host Dan Bongino will be selected as deputy FBI director.

“Great news for law enforcement and American justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our country, is by the man who will become Kash Patel, the greatest director of all time. He was appointed as the next deputy director of the FBI. Trump said true socially.

Bongino is a former US Secret Service agent who became known for protecting Trump while appearing as a Fox News contributor.

“Thank you to Attorney General Bondi and Superintendent Patel.” Bongino posted on X.

Trump emphasized that the host of the “Dumbonguino Show” holds a Masters of Psychology from City University of New York and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.

“He is a member of the New York Police Department (New York's finest!), a highly respected special agent of the US Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful podcasters in the country. He's happy to prepare. I'll give up to serve,” Trump said.

Trump offered congratulations, saying Bongino will work with Pam Bondi and Attorney General Patel to bring fairness, justice, law and order back to the country.

Just a few days ago, Patel confirmed by the Senate that he was leading the FBI. Trump's solid ally, Patel was one of the more controversial choices for his previous remarks.
