President-elect Trump on Thursday announced the latest nominees to serve in his next administration.
President Trump announced the appointment of Pennsylvania Republican National Committeewoman Christine Jacques Toretti as ambassador to Sweden. President Trump nominated Toretti as ambassador to Malta during the previous administration, but he was not confirmed by the Senate.
President Trump has nominated Leo Terrell, a frequent Fox News contributor, to serve as senior adviser to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Justice Department.
In his announcement, President Trump said Terrell is a “highly respected civil rights attorney and political analyst.” He received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has defended many high-profile cases throughout his incredibly successful career. ”
“Leo will be a great advocate for the American people and will ensure we make America great again!” Trump continued.
President Trump also announced that Sam Brown, who ran unsuccessfully to represent Nevada in the U.S. Senate, will become the deputy secretary for memorial affairs at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
