A federal judge appointed by President Trump ordered the administration Wednesday to promote the return of another migrant gang member deported to El Salvador last month.
US District Judge Stephanie Gallagher has determined that the Trump administration had violated a settlement agreement that the Biden administration group deported a 20-year-old Venezuelan citizen, who was identified as the Foreign Enemy Act of 1798, when it deported 20-year-old Venezuelan citizen last year.
Gallagher was appointed to her location in Maryland District Court in 2019 during Trump’s first term.
“Like a judge [Paula] Xinis in [Kilmar] The matter of Abrego Garcia, this court orders the defendant to promote Christian’s return to the United States, allowing him to receive the process he was entitled under the parties’ binding settlement agreement,” Gallagher wrote in her opinion, ABC Newsreferring to the case of a suspected MS-13 gang, despite preventing court orders from being sent to Central American countries.
Gallagher said that promoting Christian’s return would require Trump administration officials to “put a sincere request to the El Salvadoran government and to detain Christian in the United States, waiting for his asylum application ruling to detain him. [US Citizenship and Immigration Services]. ”
The judge described Christian’s deportation as a “breach of contract.”
The Trump administration argues that deportation is appropriate as immigrants are allegedly linked to Venezuelan prison gangster Tren DeLagua (TDA).
“March 15, 2025 [“Cristian”] According to ABC News, immigration and customs enforcement officers wrote in the declaration of oath, immigration and customs enforcement officers were eliminated under the alien enemy laws as members of the TDA, over the age of 14.

“According to his designation as an alien enemy [Alien Enemies Act] As a result of him not becoming a member of the class action settlement, the Trump administration debated in court.
ICE officials also said Christian was convicted in January of felony cocaine possession in Harris County, Texas.
Gallagher also issued a temporary restraining order against the Trump administration, blocking the removal of another immigrant, “Javier,” part of the settlement agreement, after lawyers alleged that an 18-year-old Venezuelan citizen was in the immediate danger of being “deported.”
DHS did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the post.
