A special Congressional committee investigating the July and September assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump has released certain materials requested by the task force as part of its ongoing investigation into both incidents.・The Bureau of Firearms (ATF) stated that it could not be submitted.

On October 3, the task force issued 17 “requests to the ATF and transcripts of selected interviews with relevant ATF personnel who provided support and response functions in connection with the assassination attempt on President Trump.” “Requests in one category''. The ATF responded in an Oct. 22 letter, “less than four and a half pages in length, two and a half pages of which consist of a briefing,” the task force said in a letter released Wednesday.

The task force also stated that ATF's response was “woefully inadequate given the task force's requests for physical documents and materials.”
