Constantino Wins Republican Primary in NY
Anthony Constantino, the CEO of Sticker Mule and a supporter of Donald Trump, has emerged victorious in the Republican primary for New York’s 21st District.
Constantino, who gained notoriety for his large “Vote for Trump” sign in upstate New York, beat state Representative Robert Smullen by over 19% in the recent election.
He takes the place of U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik, who opted not to seek reelection, and will compete against Democrat Blake Gendebien, a dairy farmer, in the upcoming general election.
“Congratulations to @constantino on his overwhelming victory in today’s #NY21 Republican primary!” Stefanik remarked on X.
“This was a hard-fought election and the voters have spoken loudly and clearly. In the coming months, I know Anthony will continue to work hard to earn your support,” she added.
Before the election, Trump encouraged New York Republicans to support Constantino, asserting that unity among various factions is essential.
“Once Anthony WINS the Primary, we will need all Republicans, Conservatives, and ‘TRUMP’ supporters to unite behind Anthony to ensure he has a tremendous victory in the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats!” Trump stated.
He also mentioned that Constantino would work closely with him to implement America First policies, labeling him as a “FANTASTIC person” to succeed his friend, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
In 2024, Constantino gained attention after voicing his concerns over political polarization following an assassination attempt on Trump.
“Donald Trump was shot. I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far,” he expressed in a post.
“People are terrified to admit they support Trump. I’ve been scared myself. Americans shouldn’t live in fear,” he continued, acknowledging differing opinions within his company.
