Donald Trump endorsed Pastor Mark Burns in South Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District.rd Congressional district.

On Saturday, Trump posted on Truth Social saying he would support the pastor in the upcoming election.
“Pastor Mark Burns is enthusiastically running for South Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He has been with me since the beginning of the 2016 election and even before. Mark wanted me to run long before it was trendy.”
“In Congress, Mark will help us secure our border, stop illegal immigration, uphold the rule of law, grow our economy, and protect and defend the Second Amendment, which is under constant attack,” Trump continued.
He called Burns a warrior and said he would not let South Carolinians down.
Burns, a pastor and televangelist, was one of Trump’s first supporters in the 2016 presidential election.
He is a pastor at Harvest Praise & Worship Center and served six years as a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
The South Carolina Republican primary will be held on June 25th.NumberBarnes will face off against Republican challenger Sheri Biggs.
