Trump ‘Bewildered’ by Kamala Harris

Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-Ill.) said on MSNBC’s “The Beat” on Thursday that former President Donald Trump had no idea how to handle his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Kamala Harris is the perfect person at this point in time. There is a palpable excitement and energy within the party that we really need to win the election in November,” Pritzker said. “Of course, I think Donald Trump is bewildered by all of this. I don’t know how to handle all the excitement that’s happening on the Democratic side and around Kamala Harris herself. I’ll be honest with you, I know Trump doesn’t want to debate Harris. He’s afraid of her. I don’t really know why he doesn’t want to acknowledge that she should debate him. But I’m excited about the fact that the debate is happening because I think Harris will have no choice but to succumb to this.”

He continued, “She intends to prosecute this case. He’s a 34-time convicted fraudster, a congenital liar and accused of sexual assault. I think she has a lot of ammunition to make a case against him, not to mention the radical views he brings to the table, as he demonstrated yesterday at the National Association of Black Journalists meeting in Chicago.”

He added: “She will be a president that will go down in American history, but the important thing is that she brings to the table issues that matter to people of all backgrounds.”
