Trump: Biden Jan. 6 panel pardons, others ‘void’ because Autopen used

In a social media post, President Trump said he believes former President Biden's last-minute pardon is “invalid.”

“Because of the fact that sleepy Joe Biden's “pardon” given to the selection committee of political thugs and many others was made by an autopen, this has been declared blank, vacant and no further power or effect.” Trump said Early on Monday on the True Society.

Just before taking office in January, Biden preemptively allowed several of Trump's political enemies, including those who were sitting on a House committee that investigated the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, as well as those who investigated Biden's family, Anthony Fauci and General Mark Millie.

There has been much debate about whether Biden will use executive action to protect people who may be charged by the upcoming Trump administration.

In his post Monday, Trump claimed that Biden had not signed the paper and “I knew nothing about them!”

The court has mostly left the president's pardon, but Trump noted that people on House committees should expect to be investigated “at the highest level.”

On boarding Air Force 1 on Sunday evening, Trump told reporters he thinks Biden's pardon is null for the autopen.

“It's going to be up to the court, not my decision,” he said.
