Former President Donald Trump criticized his Republican opponent, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, for his six-week abortion ban, sparking a backlash from conservatives.

“I’m going to talk to both sides and do some negotiations, so that ultimately we can have peace on this issue for the first time in 52 years,” the former president said. “I’m not going to say yes or no.”
