Contrary to what his political opponents and some mainstream news experts have suggested, President Trump claimed that the media and Democrats completely misunderstood his threat of “bloodshed.”
He went on to stress that he was not threatening political violence, as several experts and political opponents had suggested, but was actually talking about the fate of the auto industry. President Trump has claimed that the topic of the moribund US auto industry has been a constant concern for some time.
Monday, Democratic Party MSNBC Historian Michael Beschloss also acknowledged that President Trump used the word “bloodshed” when referring to the auto industry in his latest campaign speech. However, the same MSNBC Contributors also compared the 2024 Republican candidate to Adolf Hitler.
“When he used the word ‘bloody,’ it was certainly in the context of an auto industry speech, but he knew exactly what he was saying,” Beschloss said. .
“The Fake News Media and their Democratic partners who are destroying our country pretended to be shocked that I used the word bloody, yet I was simply confused by Crooked Joe Biden.” “I knew full well that I was only referring to imports that were allowed and were killing our people. The auto industry,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“The United Auto Workers union, although not its leader, completely understands what I mean,” he continued. “With the electric vehicle mandate being pushed by Biden, there will soon be no American-made cars. Unless I get elected president, then auto manufacturing will flourish like never before!!! ”
At a rally in Ohio on Saturday, President Trump threatened legal action against China.
“No, I’m going to impose a 100 percent tariff on every car that crosses the border. If I’m elected, you won’t be able to sell those cars,” Trump said. “If I don’t get elected, it will be a disaster for the country. It would suck. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building big factories.”
Democrats and Trump’s opponents tried to argue that the “bloodshed” remarks were a call for violence if Trump loses to Biden in November.
“It’s clear this man wants another January 6th.”th” Biden said on X about the Jan. 6 demonstration at the U.S. Capitol.th“But the American people will give him another major electoral defeat this November.”
But Trump’s supporters and campaign team insisted the former Republican president was talking about destroying the auto industry if Biden is re-elected.
The Trump campaign sent out a fundraising email on Monday with the subject line “Bloody!” This is an attempt to exploit and make fun of the left’s misguided outrage. The email said Trump had predicted “a disaster for our auto industry” if Biden wins in November, and that Democrats and the media had used “edited clips.” It was stated.
