Trump again set the record straight on Thursday night.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray stated before Congress yesterday that he doesn’t know if I was hit with shrapnel, glass or a bullet (the FBI wouldn’t even check!), but he is certain that Villain Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘at peace’ – that’s false!” he exclaimed.

“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals who are pouring into our country at record levels,” Trump continued, accusing Wray of being “focused on saving the radical left-wing lunatics who are destroying J6 Patriots, storming Mar-a-Lago, and burning the American flag in Washington, D.C., and spray painting our great national monuments, without receiving any retaliation.”

“No, unfortunately it was a bullet that hit me in the ear. And it hit me hard,” Trump said. “There was no glass, no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘gunshot wound to the ear’ and that’s exactly what it was. No wonder the once-renowned FBI has lost America’s trust!”

AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News also explained that it doesn’t matter either way.

For those who care about the meaning of the word, “shrapnel” refers to fragments of a bullet or, on the battlefield, pieces of a weapon or other weapon used to kill or injure an enemy.

Merriam-Webster Define “Shrapnel” means 1) “a projectile consisting of a cartridge and a number of lead bullets (usually made of lead) that explode in flight” and 2) “fragments of a bomb, mine, or artillery shell.”

In other words, Trump would have been shot whether he was hit by an intact bullet or by bullet fragments, or shrapnel.

That being said, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), the former White House physician who served for 14 years, released a memo on Friday providing an update on President Trump’s health, reminding Americans that one of the bullets fired on July 13 struck President Trump in his right ear.

Jackson said a review of medical records from Butler Memorial Hospital, where Trump was first treated, found a “gunshot wound to the right ear.”

“I served as an emergency physician in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years, including as a combat medic on the battlefield in Iraq, and have treated numerous gunshot wounds during my career,” he said. “Based on my direct observation of the injuries, the relevant clinical context, and my extensive experience evaluating and treating patients with similar injuries, I fully agree with the initial evaluation and treatment provided by the doctors and nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital on the day of the shooting.”

Jackson added that Ray’s statement “has absolute evidence that it was something other than a bullet.”

“Congress should correct the record, as the hospital and I have confirmed,” he said. “For Director Wray to suggest otherwise is wrong and inappropriate.”
