Trump claims Biden had ‘right to run’ but Democrats ‘stolen it’

A campaign official said Trump represents “change” and Harris represents “status quo.”

The Trump campaign said Harris was looking to differentiate herself from Biden.

“Reality has been in limbo for weeks,” the official said. “It seems as though Harris has never met Joe Biden and doesn’t take responsibility for anything that happens in his administration. But voters don’t see it that way.”

“But nothing has changed. The fundamentals of the race are the same,” the source added.

The campaign also slammed Ms Harris’ choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, saying it “reinforces the view that Harris is a dangerous liberal.”

“When they start talking about ‘equal outcomes,’ they’re essentially talking about communism,” the campaign official said.

Meanwhile, as the campaign moves into the general election cycle, former President Trump is focused on continuing his efforts to woo new voters in battleground states, particularly by sending messages highlighting Trump and Harris’ contrasting record of achievements and policy positions.

“Trump Force 47 is taking traditional voter contact tactics a step further by equipping voters with the skills to convince their neighbors to vote for President Trump, and it’s been extremely effective,” Caroline Leavitt, national spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, told Fox News Digital last month.

The campaign told Fox News Digital that “Trump Force 47” builds on its early state primary strategy of organizing volunteers at the precinct level, with each volunteer working to recruit a specific number of targeted voters.

Potential volunteers can sign up to work with voters in their neighborhoods, call targeted voters, be a poll watcher, be a “Trump Captain,” host a “Trump House Party,” or deliver yard signs to neighbors.

The Trump campaign argued that the economy and the border were the issues that motivate voters.

“They’re much more pessimistic about the economy,” the official said. “They’re more pessimistic about their personal finances overall.”

As for campaign finances, campaign officials said the former president has $327 million in cash.
