Former President Donald Trump celebrated his 78th birthday by hosting a political rally with members of his fan club in Florida.
President Trump attended a birthday celebration with members of Club 47 in West Palm Beach.
“This is the biggest birthday party I’ve ever been to,” Trump said of the event.

The former president was presented with a birthday cake with the theme “Make America Great Again.”
Trump reflected on some of his most resonant comments during the campaign and spoke at length about his belief that President Biden is mentally unfit to carry out his duties.
“Our country is being destroyed by incompetent people,” Trump told the crowd. “Every president should take a fitness test.”

Club 47 is based in Palm Beach County and aims to keep local Trump supporters engaged with the campaign.
The club sold out about 5,000 tickets, priced at $35 each, with premium seats near the stage costing $60.

At his birthday rally, President Trump promised to build an “amazing” Iron Dome for the United States and said it would be “American made.”
“By the end of my next term, I will build a giant steel dome over this country,” Trump said, referencing an idea by former President Ronald Reagan. “We deserve a dome. We deserve a dome that is state of the art.”
“This is a missile defense shield, and it’s all going to be made in America,” he said. “Jobs, jobs, jobs.”
