Donald Trump suffered a crushing loss in the New Hampshire primary, defeating Nikki Haley, who bet big on the state before losing decisively.
“She's giving a speech as if she won. She didn't win. She lost,” he said, his face lighting up. Haley spoke within minutes of the race being announced and expressed optimism even though the Associated Press decided the race for Trump within three minutes of polls closing.

“In fact, she did very poorly,” President Trump gloated, continuing, “The governor was saying she was going to win, she was going to win, she was going to win. Then she flopped.”
President Trump mocked New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who supported Haley and worked tirelessly on her behalf to no avail. “He must be on to something. He's never seen anyone with energy…” before attacking Hayley further.

“Ron beat her too,” President Trump said, referring to Ron DeSantis' second-place finish in Iowa. “Remember, Ron came in second place and he left.”
Ms. Haley was somewhat forgiving despite her doubtful outlook after pouring most of her remaining resources into a much-needed one-on-one fight with Mr. Trump, which still proved futile.
“He earned it, and I want to acknowledge that,” Haley said.
She continued, “New Hampshire is the first in the nation, but it's not the last in the nation. This race isn't over yet. There are still dozens of states left.”
But Haley has largely ignored the next state, Nevada, where President Trump voted in the 70s.
And in her home state of South Carolina, just up the road from Nevada, she has been heavily criticized by President Trump.
It remains to be seen how long Haley, or her globalist donors, are willing to endure.
Ms. Haley is relying heavily on the support of independents and Democrats in New Hampshire's primary, and the lax requirements allow voters to get through with little effort.
But CNN's exit poll found that among Haley voters, “about 7 in 10 said they were registered as unfiled before Tuesday.”
Future Republican caucuses and primaries will be overwhelmingly comprised of registered Republicans, making Haley's hopes a mental calculation.
Trump's former rivals Vivek Ramaswamy and Tim Scott also took to the stage, both of whom endorsed Trump after dropping out of school. Former rival Doug Burgum also appeared with him throughout the week after supporting him.
