Former President Trump on Thursday called on President Biden Another argumentThis time there will be no moderator.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump demanded a “no holds barred” and “full” discussion with Biden about the future of the country.

“I want Joe to explain why he wants open borders while millions of people and so many violent criminals from unknown places flood into our once great country, why he wants boys to be able to participate in girls’ sports, why he demands that all cars be electric within five years, why he is allowing inflation to run rampant and ruin our people, and so much more.

“It will also prove his ‘ability’, or lack thereof, under great pressure. Likewise, it will be another test for me. What a great evening it will be, just the two of us, one on one, good old fashioned debate, just like we used to have. Anytime, anywhere, any place!!!”

A spokesman for the Biden campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Trump’s eagerness to face Biden again is not surprising, given that the Democratic president is widely believed to have lost the first matchup in the 2024 presidential election.

The 81-year-old incumbent Biden’s halting speech and halting responses during CNN’s presidential debate in Atlanta have caused widespread panic among Democrats, with pundits, commentators and some party donors calling for him to step aside and field a younger, more capable presidential candidate.

Biden has so far staunchly resisted calls for him to resign, telling the crowd during a Fourth of July speech at the White House: “I’m not going anywhere.”

White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients reportedly held an all-staff meeting on Wednesday, urging team members to turn off the “noise” and focus on the task of governing.

While Zients acknowledged that there have been tough days since Biden and Trump faced off in Atlanta, he highlighted the Democratic administration’s accomplishments and record to White House aides and said governing will be even more important as the race heats up, especially after the Fourth of July celebrations.
