Trump Claims DOJ Should Target Barack Obama: 'He's Guilty'

Trump Calls for DOJ Investigation into Obama

Former President Donald Trump has expressed a strong belief that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should investigate Barack Obama, following recent statements from National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard. Gabbard’s comments revealed what Trump suggests are the true origins of the Russian collusion claims against him.

During a recent press interaction, reporters inquired about Gabbard’s plan to file a criminal referral to the DOJ after documents were declassified. These documents reportedly indicate that the Obama administration deliberately created misleading intelligence to fabricate the Trump-Russia conspiracy narrative.

When asked about potential targets in this investigation, Trump pointed directly to Obama. “From what I understand, which is similar to what many of you have seen—he’s the one who initiated it. Biden was involved, Comey was there, the whole group,” Trump stated.

He continued by asserting that the evidence unmistakably points to Obama as the key figure. “It was him all along. This wasn’t just random people; it was them, and the main player was President Obama—Barack Hussein Obama. Have you heard of him?” he emphasized.

Trump claimed that while the media will likely protect Obama, he believes the evidence against him is clear. “It’s not a matter of debate—he’s guilty,” Trump argued, framing the actions of Obama and his administration as serious offenses. “They attempted to undermine the election and did things that no one would have imagined. Even countries known for their rough politics were taken aback.”

These comments follow a report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), which suggests there is substantial evidence that Obama’s administration influenced the outcome of the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton. After Trump’s victory, it is also alleged that intelligence officials laid the groundwork for a politically motivated intelligence agency.

New allegations suggest that Obama’s officials have contradicted previous intelligence assessments, which indicated that Russia’s interference in the 2016 election was minimal, creating a new narrative that claims otherwise.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) mentioned that Congress might consider summoning Obama over accusations related to collaborating with American intelligence to generate a false narrative about a Trump-Russia conspiracy.
