Trump Claims Taylor Swift Is ‘No Longer Attractive’ Following His Criticism

Trump Challenges Taylor Swift’s Popularity

President Donald Trump recently took a jab at Taylor Swift, questioning her current appeal after the singer spoke out in support of a political figure. In a comment, he said, “I hate Taylor Swift.” It seems he was reacting to her recent statement suggesting that she’s no longer considered “hot.”

Social media users quickly picked up on Trump’s comments. One user on X shared a video of Trump’s performance at one of Swift’s concerts. The video featured him doing what some called a slightly robotic dance.

Reacting to the video, another user asked, “Is that dancing?” along with a laughing and crying emoji, while someone else jokingly remarked that their five-year-old has better rhythm than Swift, calling her dancing “overrated.”

Another comment mentioned, “It’s amazing how much she’s paid for being so mediocre,” and further remarks criticized her relevance in the industry, with users stating, “She’s so boring” and “She’s no longer relevant.”

Reports indicate that Swift’s political leanings have affected her popularity, particularly after she supported then-candidate Kamala Harris, which may have led to a “nosedive” in favorable opinions amongst various groups. Polls show that negative views of Swift among Republicans rose significantly, with approximately 47% now holding unfavorable opinions of her.

Interestingly, her positive ratings among Republicans have dropped from previous years. Earlier this year, her live album experienced a drastic decline in sales, reportedly losing 99% within a week.

Swift’s political activity has been somewhat muted until recently, and her support for Democrat candidates has not translated into electoral success. Particularly, her backing of Phil Bredesen in Tennessee failed to sway the election, with the Republican candidate winning decisively.

As for her future, Swift, who describes herself as a “childless cat woman,” appears to be shifting focus back to her music, possibly to maintain her public image as her political influence seems to wane.
