Trump clinches 2024 Republican presidential nomination during Tuesday’s primaries

Former President Trump has been officially nominated as the Republican presidential candidate.

On Tuesday, primaries were held in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington, with Trump clinching the party’s 2024 nomination.

With no major challengers remaining, Presidents Trump and Biden, who clinched their party’s nominations early in the evening, will gather all or nearly all delegates for Tuesday’s campaign, putting their respective representatives at the top. , they are Democratic and Republican presidential candidates.

Trump, a businessman, real estate mogul and reality TV star, won the White House in 2016 by defeating Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. However, he lost to Biden, who ran for re-election four years later.
