Cabinet Meeting Highlights President Trump’s Achievements

President Donald Trump held a Cabinet meeting at the White House, changing the initial plan which was to meet at Camp David.

During the gathering, Trump touted the accomplishments of his administration since returning to office in 2025, including no releases by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the southern border for almost a year.

He pointed out his success in securing “most favored nation” drug pricing, negotiating deals with major pharmaceutical companies to provide prescription drugs at significantly reduced prices on his TrumpRx platform. He confidently asserted that the GOP should win the upcoming midterm elections in November based on that achievement alone.

Additionally, Trump commended Vice President JD Vance for his efforts in combatting fraud nationwide.

“Under Vice President JD Vance’s leadership — I’m very proud to say this — the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud is tackling waste, fraud, theft, and abuse like never before,” Trump remarked.

This March, Trump had signed an executive order creating this task force, appointing Vance to lead it. This move followed investigations by independent journalist Nick Shirley that revealed fraud schemes in Minnesota exploiting state-funded social programs without delivering the necessary services.

Recently, the Department of Justice announced charges against 15 individuals in Minnesota accused of defrauding vulnerable citizens out of more than $90 million in taxpayer money from Medicaid and Medicare.

Vance stated the task force had also identified issues related to student loan fraud, housing benefits fraud, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) fraud.

“Fraud has two victims,” Vance explained. “The most evident victim is the American taxpayer. They pay their taxes with the expectation that their money is used correctly, which, unfortunately, isn’t always the case due to fraudsters. The other victims are those who rely on these programs that would cease to exist if we don’t address the fraud issue.”

“This initiative will create a better environment for every citizen, save a substantial amount of money, and most importantly, it’s the right thing for our tax dollars,” stated the Acting United States Attorney General, emphasizing that many prosecuted were illegal immigrants committing fraud against American citizens.

Trump expressed gratitude towards Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard, who announced her resignation due to her husband’s serious illness. He praised her past contributions, inviting applause from the Cabinet members.

“She significantly transformed the Office of Director of National Intelligence by reducing the staff by 40% and preventing numerous terrorists and cartel members from entering the country. She has unveiled substantial evidence regarding the Russia investigation, arguably the greatest hoax in our nation’s history, and revoked security clearances for those involved while declassifying important documents.”

Trump then called on Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss Iran, humorously referencing Rubio’s numerous responsibilities in the administration.

“You’re all over the place, right?” Trump joked.

Rubio reiterated that the U.S. stance is that Iran should never develop nuclear weapons, as it is “the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.”

He explained that the administration, led by Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, is actively pursuing diplomatic solutions to the conflict, but if those efforts fail, the president has “other options.”

“They are eager to negotiate a deal. So far, they haven’t succeeded. We’re not satisfied with the current state, but we will be either way, or we’ll need to finish the job. They’re negotiating under pressure, but it remains to be seen what will unfold,” Trump stated regarding Iran.
