Angel Family speaks at ICE event

President Donald Trump condemned a disturbing video that purportedly shows a Haitian illegal immigrant killing his mother in Florida with a hammer last week. He criticized the Biden administration for their attempts to release the suspect back in 2022.
Robert Joachim, 40, faces charges of second-degree murder as well as criminal damage to property. He was recorded attacking a mother of two outside a gas station in Fort Myers last Friday.
“An illegal alien from Haiti, allowed into our country by what I consider the worst president in history, Joe Biden, just bludgeoned an innocent woman to death with a hammer,” Trump stated in a post on Truth Social. “The video of her murder is among the most brutal I’ve ever witnessed.”
“This one killing should be enough for judges to stop interfering with our immigration policies,” he added.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Joachim was first admitted into the U.S. in August 2022 and was released under the Biden administration’s policies. A federal judge later issued an order for his removal, but he was granted temporary protected status, a program Trump has criticized as being “massively exploited.” He also asserted that radical liberal judges have hindered his administration’s efforts to remove such individuals.
Despite a final order for his removal, Joachim remained in the country even after his protected status expired in 2024.
President Trump has also claimed that Democrats are transforming the U.S. into a “dumping ground” for unvetted individuals.
“Americans should not forget that the Democratic Party has allowed millions of criminals and untested individuals into our country through our open borders,” he remarked. “If you import from the Third World, you become Third World. That’s what occurred during the Democratic administration over the last four years.”
In this instance, the victim was a gas station clerk. Surveillance footage showed her being attacked; the suspect smashed her car window and struck her multiple times with a hammer.
Reports have surfaced about President Trump calling for prayers for the victim, who was a mother of two teenage daughters. He emphasized, “Please pray for this innocent woman’s family. We will ensure that justice is served swiftly and fairly in this case!”
