Trump Deceives Liberals Into Avoiding Disney

Conservative Backlash Over Jimmy Kimmel’s Comments

It seems that tensions are brewing over a recent incident involving late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and his remarks about Charlie Kirk’s murder. His show has been suspended indefinitely by ABC, stirring up a storm of anger from conservative circles, while liberals have responded with calls for a boycott of both ABC and its parent company, Disney.

The backlash has taken shape on social media, with users utilizing hashtags like “#boycottdisney” and “#boycottabcnetwork.” Notable Democratic figures have chimed in, urging their followers to support the boycott. “All major talent working at ABC and Disney should refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is back,” wrote author Wajahat Ali, suggesting even a full shutdown of Marvel movies until the situation is resolved.

Boycott alert!

Disney/ABC just pulled Jimmy Kimmel for political reasons. Nexstar, which owns a wide array of local stations, is part of the same system.

Boycott Disney. Boycott Nexstar. Boycott advertisers.

Boycott everything that belongs to ABC and Disney.

I just canceled my Disney+ account! #boycottabcnetwork #boycottdisney

Brian Classenstein, an author, conveyed to his audience that this strategy would strike a chord financially. “It hits them where it hurts: $$$,” he remarked.

Kimmel’s monologue earlier in the week had touched on sensitive themes, criticizing the way some are trying to portray the murderer in a light that might deflect blame. He expressed frustration over what he saw as political opportunism in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Meanwhile, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Kerr shared his views, pointing out that Kimmel’s comments weren’t singular in nature, indicating a broader trend of misinformation that he finds troubling. President Donald Trump also celebrated Kimmel’s suspension, stating that it was a courageous move for ABC. He criticized Kimmel’s talent and ratings, further fanning the flames of discontent.

This whole situation raises questions, doesn’t it? What if Disney can’t keep up the production schedule for their blockbuster films filled with diverse representations? It seems like a tricky balancing act for them, navigating both public perception and financial realities.
