The Associated Press predicts Donald Trump will win the Missouri Republican caucus, marking another victory for the former president over former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The Associated Press called Trump’s campaign early Saturday afternoon. The former president had won all contests through Saturday and was expected to cruise to victory.
After her defeat in her home state of South Carolina, Haley vowed to remain in the race at least through Super Tuesday, March 5. On Super Tuesday, voters in 15 states head to the polls to choose their president.

Although Mr. Trump is the clear winner in the state, Missouri will select 51 of its 54 delegates through a months-long process called the “caucus system,” which begins only with Saturday’s caucuses.
The system gives 11 delegates to state-level candidates, with five from each of Missouri’s eight congressional districts. The remaining three delegates are the chair of the Missouri Republican Party and its national committee members and committee members, who can support any candidate of their choice regardless of the outcome of the caucuses.

A candidate who receives 50% or more of the votes in a particular caucus venue wins all contested delegates in that caucus. If no candidate passes the 50% threshold, delegates will be awarded proportionately.
The Democratic Party will hold a primary election in Missouri on March 23rd.
