The president-elect is not thrilled with Joe Biden's recent declaration that flags will remain at half-staff until Inauguration Day.

Donald Trump said on Truth Social that all Democrats are “blindsided” by the decision. This will be the first time in history that the national flag will be lowered to half-staff during the inauguration ceremony.
He stressed that Democrats only care about themselves and that “no American is satisfied” with the optics.
Biden has ordered a 30-day period to lower the flag in memory of the late Jimmy Carter. Valid until January 28thth.
President Trump could decide to end the 30-day period sooner.
This comes after Vice President Kamala Harris failed to recite the opening words of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Harris is scheduled to certify her defeat against President-elect Trump on Monday, January 6th.th.
